When thinking about moving and/or buying a home, learning about different schools in Albuquerque neighborhoods can be a helpful aid. Whether you are an Albuquerque resident already, or are considering relocating to Albuquerque, the following are some resources about public high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools in Albuquerque. Please contact Paul Chavez, Albuquerque Realtor and broker, for further assistance.
Albuquerque Public Schools, or APS, serves over 89,000 students, marking it one of the largest school districts across New Mexico and the country. To best work with such a large population, APS is divided into a cluster system based on its eleven high schools and their corresponding middle and elementary feeder schools. Alternative schools within the Albuquerque school district make up the twelfth cluster. This cluster system promotes a more focused and coordinated management system, so that individual clusters can hone in on their specific needs.
